About us

Founded in 2017, Sydney Uni Netball Club (SUNC) is a proud club that has both a rich history and is rapidly expanding. From social netball through to the elite, and everywhere in between, SUNC offers a range of competitions to suit everyone. We welcome current students, alumni and members of the public alike - you don’t have to be a student to join! Competitions include Saturday Club, Varsity competitions, M-League and social netball (run by Sydney Uni Sports and Fitness). For more information, check out our competitions page. ​​​

Men's Netball

SUNC is proud to support the growth of Men’s Netball. We are immensely proud of our SUNC Men’s representatives, both past and present with several men’s players going on to represent NSW and Australia. We made history in 2023 by entering three mixed teams and mens team into the Inner West Netball Association (IWNA) club competition, as well as into the M-League competition at Netball Central. Registrations for 2026 for the winter club season are now open, with men's and mixed teams available.

​Partnerships

Sydney Uni Sports & Fitness (SUSF) and SUNC partner to deliver Sydney Uni’s Elite Athlete Program to assist High Performance Netballers in pursuing academic and sporting excellence. In 2025, SUNC also partnered with The Royal, Darlington.
