Come play netball with Sydney Uni Netball Club! We offer a diverse range of opportunities for individuals at all levels for men and women.

The club would like to congratulate Jason Welmer, who last Wednesday won the 2025 Sportsman of the Year at the Sydney Uni Sports Awards. A crowd favourite, Jason was recognised ahead of a competitive field on the back of an incredible string of 2025 performances.

In 2025 Jason was dual representative for NSW at both the AMMNA championships and indoor nationals. He was selected in the Australian Mixed team that won 3-0 against England, and will tour South Africa with the Australian Indoor netball squad later this year.

Aside from being an incredible athlete, Jason is a fantastic club member and representative. He represented the club in the UNE Tri-Series, Teal Club and Uni Nationals, as well as for the Mountain Leopards and Wildcats in the IWNA competition. Amongst all that, he always finds time to come to club events and the pub on a Thursday night. Many opposition universities have sighs of relief knowing that his GK bib will now be retired. Congratulations again on this incredible and well deserved achievement! #SUNC 💛💙

It’s crunch time in @mensnetballnsw M League and our teams have been killing it throughout the season!

The Doja Kats will feature in the Div 1 final tonight. Our Meerkats got knocked out last week in the other Div 1 semi and Pussycats were fierce throughout the season to narrowly miss out on finals.

Our Div 3 teams will both have Semi-Finals this Friday! #rawr

NATIONALS WRAP UP

A massive congratulations to our Women’s team who gave it their all and fought to the very end to bring home the bronze medal at Unisport Nationals last week!! 🦁🏆
